Senator Murkowski Speaks to Roundtable at the Ketchikan Meeting |
Roundtable members met on August 23rd and 24th in Ketchikan to continue work toward the four goals established at the Wrangell meeting in June. The group formally adopted a Charter and Code of Conduct. On the second day, Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski met with the group, commending them on their progress and their commitment to working together. She stressed the importance of finding common ground, and asked that they continue to push on through the difficult issues to find solutions that will provide lasting benefits for the people of the region.
