The 2008 Tongass National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan amendment was released by the US Forest Service on January 25, 2008, after a teleconference briefing with Roundtable members and alternates. SE Alaska Restoration Projects Map Now Available |
One of the main purposes of the Restoration Committee is to coordinate and share information on existing restoration efforts in SE Alaska. The committee recently began compiling examples of restoration projects that have either been completed, are ongoing, or are planned for the near future. This is not an exhaustive list, but a few representative examples of restoration. Check out the interactive map to see photos and descriptions of the projects.
